This statement of faith shall be deemed to constitute the official belief and policy of the corporation of Forest Lake Christian School. This policy shall be expressed at all educational levels. Forest Lake Christian School shall support, espouse, and in all respects give allegiance to the following statement of faith:
1. While adhering without reservation to the teachings of the
Bible, no attempt is made to force upon students views of a
denominational or sectarian nature.
2. We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired word of God
and is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith
and conduct.
3. Salvation is through grace by faith in the person and the
atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
4. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three
persons - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
5. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin
birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and
atoning death, throught His shedding of blood, in His bodily
resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father,
in His personal return in power and glory.
In matters of significant doctrinal differences, a staff member will be expected to present the school's veiwpoint on doctrinal
philosophy.
